Digital Transformation
STEEL BUSINESS EUROPE is actively engaged in the digital transformation of industrial operations, in alignment with the strategic objectives of the European Union and the Slovak Republic.
In collaboration with its sister organization
CeDiTra, a.s. – Center for Digital Transformation, we are implementing the Digital Enterprise project, aimed at comprehensive digitalization and automation of business processes, with a strong emphasis on maximizing the use of digital documents, data flows, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
Key pillars of SBE’s digital transformation include

in accordance with electronic archiving standards and eArchiving principles.

enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and reducing error rates

(including data mining and artificial intelligence technologies) for intelligent data extraction and processing

in record-keeping and promotion of environmentally sustainable solutions

particularly:
the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD),
the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD),
the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR),
as well as strategic frameworks such as the Digital Transformation Strategy of Slovakia 2030, the European Data Strategy, the Digital Single Market Strategy, and SK RIS3 2021+.
The Digital Enterprise project also serves as a platform for research and development in digitalization, data processing, and innovation transfer. In cooperation with CeDiTra and other companies in the group, we participates in building research infrastructure, organizing professional conferences, workshops and trainings, as well as in developing digital competencies of employees.
